Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 teaspoons peppermint extract or 5 drops peppermint essential oil
- Mix water and sugar into a saucepan. Bring to a light boil and make sure that you stir it frequently.
- Cook on low for 15 minutes. Mix from time to time to combine.
- Let the syrup cool down after removing it from heat. Mix in the peppermint extract or essential oil. Store in an airtight container. Use this syrup to flavor your coffee drinks.
