Ingredients

  • 2 tuna steaks (patted dry)
  • Salt and black pepper (to season)
  • 1 cup cider vinegar
  • 1¾ ounces good quality white chocolate (chopped)
  • 6 tbsp + 2 tsp olive oil

Method

  1. Season the tuna steaks with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat a frying pan or skillet until hot, add the tuna and brown for 3 minutes, on each side. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. Deglaze the pan with cider vinegar, stirring to dissolve the cooking juices.
  4. In a pan, melt the white chocolate gently.
  5. A little at a time, add the olive oil to the melted chocolate. Next, stir in the vinegar to combine and serve the tuna steaks topped with the sauce.
