Ingredients
- 2 ounces (60 ml) hazelnut-flavored syrup
- 1/2 ounce (15 ml) coffee-flavored liqueur
- 1 ounce (30 ml) tequila
- 1 1/2 ounces (45 ml) cold espresso or strong coffee
- 1 1/2 ounces (45 ml) heavy cream
- 1/2 ounce (15 ml) white crème de cacao liqueur
- 3/4 cup (170 g) crushed ice
- A thin slice of cantaloupe, for garnish
- Pour 1/2 ounce (15 ml) of the hazelnut syrup, the coffee liqueur, and the tequila very slowly into a chilled martini glass, so that the three ingredients float on top of one another.
- Combine the espresso, cream, white crème de cacao, ice, and remaining 1 1/2 ounces (45 ml) hazelnut syrup in a cocktail shaker, and shake vigorously.
- Very slowly pour the espresso mixture into the martini glass, so as not to disturb the bottom layers.
- Garnish the rim of the glass with the slice of cantaloupe.
- Serve, and enjoy the new coffee fashion!
