Ingredients
- Sugar, for garnish
- Cocoa powder, for garnish
- Simple sugar syrup, for garnish
- 3/4 cup (170 g) crushed ice
- 3/4 ounce (22 ml) vanilla-flavored vodka
- 3/4 ounce (22 ml) amaretto
- 1/2 ounce (15 ml) espresso syrup
- 1/2 ounce (15 ml) half-and-half
- Mix together the sugar and cocoa powder on a plate.
- Dip the rim of a chilled martini glass into a separate small, flat dish of simple sugar syrup, to form a base coat.
- Then quickly dip the rim into the plate of the cocoa mixture, coating well. Now you have an attractive rimmed martini glass.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with the ice.
- Add all the remaining ingredients and shake well.
- Strain into the cocoa-decorated martini glass.
