Ingredients
- 1 ounce (30 ml) raspberry-flavored syrup or raspberry-flavored vodka
- 1/2 ounce (15 ml) chocolate syrup, or dark crème de cacao liqueur
- 1 1/2 ounces (45 ml) cold espresso or strong coffee
- 8 ice cubes
- 1/2 ounce (15 ml) half-and-half or white crème de cacao liqueur
- 1 chocolate kiss, for garnish (optional)
- 3 coffee beans, for garnish (optional)
- Shake the syrups, espresso, and ice in a cocktail shaker.
- Allow to stand for 5 minutes.
- Shake vigorously for 5 more seconds.
- Strain into a martini glass.
- Top the center of the drink with the half-and-half for a “macchiato” presentation!
- Garnish with the chocolate kiss or the coffee beans.
