Ingredients

  • 8 oz of water
  • 7 oz of white sugar
  • 1 tbsp of lavender buds
  • A scraped vanilla bean
  • ice cubes as per requirement
  • 4 oz of chilled brewed coffee
  • 2 oz of any milk
  • 1 tbsp of heavy cream

  • Method

    1. In a saucepan, combine lavender buds, vanilla bean scrapes, and white sugar.
    2. Muddle the lavender a bit and then pour the water into the saucepan. Stir and mix the ingredients well.
    3. Place the saucepan on low heat and warm the lavender water till the sugar melts away completely.
    4. Strain the lavender liquid and refrigerate for at least an hour till the water soaks in the lavender flavor.
    5. Fill the serving glass with ice cubes. Pour in the coffee and milk and stir to combine well.
    6. Add one and a half tablespoons of the simple lavender syrup and mix using a spoon.
    7. Finish off by topping the iced coffee with some cream and serve chilled.
