Ingredients
- ½ cup cold black coffee or cold brew
- 1 ½ tbsp caramel sauce
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 tbsp whipping cream
- Ice as needed
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- ½ cup half and half
- 1 tsp sea salt
- To make 1 cup caramel sauce, add all the ingredients in a small saucepan and place it over low flame. Keep whisking the mixture till it thickens and isn’t watery anymore. It should take about 6 to 9 minutes max.
- Don’t thicken it too much since it will thicken more when it cools. To store for later use, pour the caramel sauce into an airtight jar and place it in the fridge. You can use it for up to 2 weeks.
- To make the iced coffee, add some ice cubes – 4 to 5 for a tall glass – and then add coffee and milk to the glass.
- Then, pour in the cream and top with the caramel sauce. Mix well till the coffee turns smooth.
- Bon Appetite!
