Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 3 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 cup water, cold
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tsp instant coffee
  • At least 6 small ice cubes

  • Method

    1. Add water, ice, cinnamon, and coffee to a blender and blend till the mixture becomes foamy and smooth or for 20 to 30 seconds.
    2. Add in milk in a tall transparent glass – about a third of the glass needs to be filled. Then, add in 1-2 ice cubes.
    3. Place a tablespoon inside the glass and use your hands to hold it against the wall in the glass. Use your other hand to add coffee to the spoon in the glass. Slowly add coffee, don’t rush it, or you will ruin the layers. Leave the iced coffee for a while so that layers can completely form. The layers will only form if you leave the glass alone for a while.
    4. Top the glass with foam from the coffee if you want to. You might want to save some foam for this. Make another glass the same way.
    5. Top both glasses with cinnamon sugar. To make 1 tbsp cinnamon sugar, combine 1 tbsp white sugar powder with ¾ tsp cinnamon powder.
    6. Serve cool.
