Ingredients

  • 7 ounces (210 ml) milk
  • 3/4 ounce (20 ml) premium sugar-free chai tea concentrate
  • 2 ounces (60 ml) hot, fresh espresso or strong coffee
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Ground cardamom or nutmeg, for garnish

  • Method

    1. Steam the milk with the steam wand from an espresso machine (or refer to this link for how to steam milk in a saucepan).
    2. Pour the steamed milk into a large latte mug, and add the chai concentrate and espresso.
    3. Stir with the cinnamon stick.
    4. Garnish with a sprinkle of ground cardamom or nutmeg.

    5. Variation

      1. Regular premium chai concentrate may be used instead of the sugar-free concentrate.
