Ingredients

  • 2–4 ounces (60–113 ml) cold espresso or strong coffee
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) milk, plus more as needed
  • 2–3 Oreo cookies or other very dark brown cookies with a white cream filling
  • 1 1/4 cups (280 g) crushed ice
  • Milk chocolate shavings, for garnish

  • Method

    1. Place the espresso, milk, and cookies in a blender. Add the ice and blend until smooth.
    2. Adjust the amount of milk for the desired consistency.
    3. Top with chocolate shavings.
    4. Serve with fat straws in a chilled tall glass.

    5. Note

      1. Leftover espresso or strong brewed coffee can be stored for a day or two in the refrigerator in a covered container. Use it in any of these refreshing iced cappuccinos. Drink up!
