This type of iced coffee is rare and barely heard of. Despite the fact that it is not heard of, Persian-styled ice coffee, also known as iced coffee, is a very tasty coffee. Along with cardamom to accompany the flavors, this coffee is a must-have for all caffeine lovers. So, go ahead, read through the recipe, follow the instructions and make the wonderful coffee.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of chilled coffee
  • ⅔ cup of milk (any type)
  • 2 tbsp of crushed cardamom pods
  • ½ tsp of rosewater
  • Ice cubes as per requirement
  • edible rose petals to garnish

  • Method

    1. Prepare two cups of coffee according to your liking. Make sure that the coffee is cool otherwise chill the coffee before proceeding to the next step.
    2. Crush the cardamom using a spoon or a fork. Pour milk into a saucepan.
    3. Now, add cardamom into the saucepan. Make sure the pan is kept over a low flame.
    4. Heat the milk for 20 minutes, stirring it every now and then.
    5. Now, add the rose water into the milk. You could add more rose water if you prefer less milky coffee.
    6. Heat and constantly stir the milk for another ten minutes.
    7. Strain the milk and refrigerate it for about 1 to 2 hours till it is chilled.
    8. Fill iced cups in your serving cup. Fill about a third of the cup with the milk and then two-thirds with the chilled coffee.
    9. Serve immediately with some rose petals or refrigerate until serving time.
