Ingredients

  • 1 heaping tablespoon of coffee creamer
  • 2 quarts of water, filtered
  • 8 ounces of coffee beans, whole

  • Method

    1. Using a coffee grinder, grind the coffee beans coarsely.
    2. Using a pitcher, pour water and ground coffee then give it a good stir to incorporate until well-blended.
    3. Cover the pitcher and store it in a refrigerator for up to 18-24 hours.
    4. Using a fine mesh sieve with cheesecloth, strain the concentrated coffee into a measuring cup (do not squeeze and press the cheesecloth).
    5. Transfer the cold brew coffee to a clean mason jar with a lid then put it back in the refrigerator and store for up to 2 weeks.
    6. Make your iced coffee by filling a tall glass with ice cubes, ½ cup of icecold water, and the cold brew coffee; stir together and serve immediately.
