Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- ¼ cup butter
- ¼ cup pecan butter
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoons salt
- 1 shot espresso
- 2 tablespoons maple pecan syrup
- ½ cup steamed milk
- Whipped cream for topping
- Chopped toasted pecans for garnish
Maple Pecan Syrup:

Method
- Combine all ingredients for syrup in a saucepan except for heavy cream and vanilla.
- Cook over medium heat while stirring for 2 minutes or until sugar dissolves.
- Turn heat off and whisk in heavy cream and vanilla. Set aside to cool completely.
- In a mug, combine espresso and 2 tablespoons of maple pecan syrup. Mix well and reserve remaining syrup for other lattes.
- Pour in steamed milk and top with whipped cream.
- Garnish with pecans and serve.
